Applying for Funding

Funding is available for all public road owning entities. Agencies that are eligible include but are not limited to Townships, Boroughs, PA Game Commission, PA Fish & Boat Commission, and Penn DOT.

 

The only requirement for applicants is, the employee that will manage the project for the applying agency must attend a free two day environmentally sensitive maintenance training.

 

Site eligibility:

  • For a road to be considered for funding it must be open to public motor vehicle traffic for 2 consecutive weeks per year
  • The road must negatively contribute to a water way.
  • For DGR consideration the road surface must be unpaved.
  • For LVR consideration the road must be paved and/or tar and chipped and have a traffic count that shows less than 500 cars per day
